先日、4th Termの狙いと選択した科目を書いた。その中にあった実プロジェクト型のクラスとパートタイムのインターンシップを通じて単位が取得できるクラスに関して企業が決定した。双方ともスタートアップの企業だった。1つはLondonにあり、1つはBarcelonaにある。前者が5人チームでのプロジェクトスタイル、後者が1-2人で対象企業へ赴き働くスタイルだ。後者も期間が限られている以上、大枠のGoalとOutput、Scopeは定義する。
まずは現状を把握して解くべき問いを見つけるところから。面白い。一方は技術はあり、VCからも高い評価を得ているもののまだ顧客がいない。一方は既にWeb上でサービス提供を開始していそうな話であったが、サイトを検索して訪ねてみるとerrorがでて開かない。Renewalしたと話していたがトラブルでも発生しているのだろうか。
どちらもCEOないしはFounderと直接やりとりしながら進めていくことができる。
最終的にRevenue Streamを作ることを期待されているところもある。限られた時間、やるべきことに集中して臨みたいと思う次第。

I wrote with regard to the objectives for 4th term and the classes I opted. The companies for which I will work are decided. Both are start-up, one is in London and the other is in Barcelona. For former one, I will work with 4 students as a team and it’s project style. For latter one, I will join the company and work though I should define the goal, outputs, and scope of activities because of time limitation.
First of all, I have to find issues. This is so interesting. A company has a technology highly evaluated by VCs on the other hand it has no client yet. The other already released its web-service and took renewal last week; however, I cannot open the page due to error. They are probably struggling with trouble shooting.
I will work with CEO or Founder in both companies.
One of their expectations is to make a revenue stream. I want to focus on the tasks the company should do to make good result within limited time.
